Processing capabilities

Cutting

CNC cutting of monolithic and laminated glass sheets.

Grinding

CNC grinding with a variety of aesthetic options, including rough or polished edges, 45-degree angle grinding, flat edge, round edge, or bullnose grinding.

Drilling

In addition to standard cylindrical drilling, we offer custom shapes,
countersinking, and notch work.

Enameling

Performed with ceramic inks for uniform color coverage across the glass surface. Ideal for high-volume production, in both standard white or custom colors.

Screen printing

This “hot” process uses ceramic inks incorporated into the glass via thermal tempering. Also available with digital technology, it ensures long-lasting color
durability and versatile architectural and industrial applications.

Thermal toughening

For flat and curved glass, even in large sizes, making glass
safety-glass compliant (UNI EN 12150). Tempered glass is up to six or seven times stronger than non-tempered glass, shattering into small, blunt fragments upon breakage.

HST

A testing procedure for tempered glass to minimize the risk of
spontaneous breakage. The HST cycle heats glass panels to 290°C, accelerating the failure of glass susceptible to spontaneous breakage. This test, regulated by UNI EN 14179, is mandatory for building façade panels.

Chemical toughening

This process relies on chemical immersion, producing a hard,
flexible glass surface through ion exchange. Offering higher resistance, optical quality, and
lightweight options for laminated compositions, it enables thinner glass layers for equivalent strength.

Gravity bending

this process involves slowly heating glass and allowing it to conform to selected molds. This type of bending requires customized times and equipment based on the desired optical quality and always requires lamination for safety compliance.

Lamination

Using an autoclave to laminate two or more glass sheets with various plastic interlayers achieves a range of technical and aesthetic performances. For flat and curved glass, lamination provides safety-compliant glass (UNI EN 12600) that enhances
personal safety, impact resistance, and prevents falls.

Products

At Pleniver, we handle a wide range of products, from simple to complex. Common applications include solutions for construction, contract architecture, and design, such as:

Glass balustrades, both flat and curved, for terraces, stairways, and balconies.
Panoramic glass walls and interior coverings, available in color or frosted finishes for
unique effects.
Walkable glass floors and walkways, including anti-slip options, ideal for staircases.
Flat and curved glass facades with extra-clear glass for storefronts and displays.
Glass partition walls, transparent or opaque, ideal for open spaces, meeting rooms, and
conference rooms, with optional decorative or acoustic properties.
Signage and informational totems: glass panels for hotels, museums, and shopping
centers.

Safety focus Bulletproof,
Anti-burglary,
Ballistic-resistant glass

Pleniver’s bulletproof glass is composed of layered glass structures to achieve various resistance levels. Ideal for private homes, commercial spaces, and sensitive areas, it
ensures maximum security for people and valuables. Compliance with UNI 7697 standards guarantees that our glass meets anti-burglary and vandalism (UNI EN 356) or ballistic resistance (UNI EN 1063) requirements.

Anti-burglary glass: tested according to UNI EN 356, our glass provides resistance from class P4A to P8B, suitable for museum cases, luxury showcases, artwork, and collections.

Ballistic-resistant glass: compliant with UNI EN 1063 from BR1 to BR7, our ballistic-resistant glass is designed for extreme threats. Common applications include private
residences, bank entrances, post offices, courthouses, government buildings, luxury stores, and armored vehicle windows. Upon request, we also offer anti-spall ballistic glass.
